Flame Artist.

Having originally studied photography film and design,

my career began in fashion photography moving into broadcast graphics and subsequently vfx animation, 

I now have over 22 years experience working in broadcast TV, with over 15 years as a compositor.

For much of my career I have worked on a freelance basis. Clients have included many of the major London broadcasters and facilities, including Channel 4, C5 the BBC and ITN 

In addition I have also used my skills in locations as diverse as Sydney, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Zurich and Berlin, I lived and worked in Rome for almost 2 years.

I then went on to work at British Sky Broadcasting achieving several RTS and Promax Award nominations for projects I worked closely on.

Alongside this work,I pursued my photography and recently worked on an independent film “Here’s Johnny” which has subsequently won 2 Grierson Awards. - Best Arts Documentary and Best Newcomer as well as gaining official selection at the SWSW Festival.

I have A strong design sense and I thrive on the mixture of creative and technical that is required to achieve results in the vfx production environment - I  like to work under pressure and enjoy being part of a team. 

I bring to the Flame my considerable Editing and Colour correction skills- My knowledge and experience of photography, and in particular lens characteristics,have proved invaluable over the years I have spent as a compositor. Recent projects have given me a good knowledge of digital film pipelines, 

I feel I  bring enthusiasm and expertise and a high level of professionalism to each project I am involved in. I would like to continue and develop my compositing experience in the film and commercials environment.

Other Skills include -Auto Desk Smoke, Combustion, Final Cut Pro, Some Knowledge of Eyeon Fusion, and After Effects.
